Sometimes when people are suffering from a recurring diseases, they tend to think that the ongoing ailments are a result of the previous condition that they had. One of such cases is that people with Arthritis and Food Allergies sometimes think that the disease is the affect of the allergies that they have with certain foods.
It is not true that arthritis is a result of allergies that a person may have towards certain foods. The only time food is said to aggravate the symptoms of arthritis is when the patients develop inflammation in the body after having certain types of food.
Usually food allergies do not affect the arthritis patients in any other manner known except for the inflammatory conditions of the joints and the areas around them. The condition can be easily identified as such patients show up inflammation or bumps on the skin. The inflammation thus caused can worsen the condition of the arthritis patient, making it fatal.
Another issue that needs urgent attention is with regards to the medicine that the person might be using for curing the allergies. Those medicines might conflict with the ones used for arthritis. This is the reason why people who have arthritis and happen to experience food allergies are advised to seek the services of an Epidemiology physician. |
